Good Afternoon Families,
Hope everyone had a relaxing long weekend.
Last week we have started assigning bus seats in the auditorium during dismissal to streamline the process. If your child rides one of the OPT busses, please reinforce what we have been covering in school which is respectful and safe bus behavior.
Mixed Sports has been going well and most students have settled on a sport of their choice. Mixed Sports photo gallery from last two weeks can be found here. Please remember to send students to school in comfortable clothes and sneakers on Thursdays.

Middle School News
School Loop is up and running. A parent how-to workshop will be held on October 18th at 8:05am in the Library.
BSI Debate for 2016-2017 school year is starting today. Click here to register if you still have not done so. (7th graders on Thursdays 3:00-4:30pm. 8th graders on Mondays from 3-4:30 pm.)
The new Fall CHAMPS semester will start on October 13th and run through December 15th, 2016 – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 4:30pm. If your child would like to participate, please fill out these forms and email them back to msigalova@bsi686.org.

8th Grade Families
Senior ring flyers and ring order forms are coming home via backpacks today. The payment for the ring and order form are due on Wednesday, October 26th. Students are scheduled for cap/gown and ring measurements on 10/26/16 at 9:30 to 10am. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Valerie Durandise.
The results of the short survey that you took can be found here. The Graduation ceremony will be held at 5pm, details on the venue will be shared once everything is confirmed.
