Science 6, 7, and 8. Week of Jan.16, 2017
This week the 6th grade will be delving into Newton’s Laws of Motions to help us understand, not only, the motions of the planets but also how rockets work and how magicians pull a tablecloth off without breaking the crystalware on the table.
After some very exceptional PowerPoint presentations reviewing our unit on Chemistry, the 7th grade is finally beginning our next unit – Physics. We are starting by trying to understand the basic concepts of work, energy & force.
After covering a brief review of the eyes and ears, the 8th graders will be ready for their first dissection of the year. Following this we will be discussing the role of medicine & drugs in changing the way the body works.
