Our School-wide Kindness Initiative
Want to feel moved and inspired? Watch this video that we showed to both third grade classes last Friday: Kindness Inspires Kindness. The children seemed to enjoy it very much, and they had fun tracing who observed an act of kindness and then in turn, performed some small act of kindness for another person. This could be a great video to watch together as a family – and then to follow up on by noticing small acts of kindness that other people around you are doing, from holding a door to helping carry a baby stroller down the steps in the subway. Noticing kindnesses around us helps inspire us to do small, reflexive acts of kindness as well!
