5th Grade Overnight Trip – A Night at the Museum

Dear 5th Grade Families,
This year, on Friday, June 23rd, the 5th grade will be spending the night at the American Museum of Natural History!
During our indoor overnight experience, we will enjoy interactive educational activities, a late-night viewing of the film, Wonders of the Arctic in the LeFrak Theater, access to a special exhibition, and a flashlight exploration of our famed fossil halls.
Draft ITINERARY(subject to change):
8:30- 10:40 am Regular School Schedule
10:40 am School Lunch
11:30 am Classes leave the school by private bus
1:00-3:30 pm Central Park activities w/ Sharon Seitz
4:00-5:45 pm Dinner at a local sandwich shop
6:00 pm Check in at AMNH
6:30 pm Orientation at AMNH
7:00 pm AMNH Activities
7am Breakfast
7:30 am-8am Pick Up & Dismissal
CHAPERONES
Here is a sign-up sheet for anyone interested in chaperoning. Please note that we do not have the capacity to accept all who are interested in chaperoning and will pick names from a hat.

- Participant Permission and Release Form Each participant, including adult chaperones, must submit participant permission and release forms and must include the child’s age. (For chaperone purposes, the field trip will begin at 12:30 on Friday at the AMNH; you may either meet us there or accompany us from school, we’ll leave at 11:30am.)
- Payment due by May 19th. $150 (includes all food)
