Stuyvesant HS Diversity Open House June 10th & Free Mock SHSAT Exam Sessions

Dear Families,

1. June 10 — STUYVESANT HS SPRING DIVERSITY OPEN HOUSE:
5th-7th graders  are invited to attend the Stuyvesant High School Diversity Open House on Saturday, June 10 at 10:00am. Members of the School’s Black Students League and ASPIRA clubs as well as Black and Latino graduates will speak. Students from Stuyvesant’s 200 clubs and teams will be leading tours of the building.

2. FREE MOCK SHSAT EXAM SESSIONS IN JUNE IN BROOKLYN: REGISTER NOW

Current 6th and 7th Graders: Mock SHSAT Sessions hosted by Brooklyn Heights Test Prep will be held throughout June. Register here: freemockshsatjune.eventbrite.com .

Brooklyn Heights Test Prep, located at 195 Montague Street, is offering an opportunity for 6th and 7th graders to “experience the new SHSAT five months before the real thing”. These mock tests help parents and students will be able to create study plans that suit their schedules and needs — in other words, determine how much studying is needed. 3. CONGRATULATIONS TO STUYVESANT’S BLACK STUDENTS LEAGUE CO-PRESIDENT’S ACCEPTANCE TO 7 IVY LEAGUE SCHOOLS!
Congratulations to Nina Uzoigwe, Stuyvesant High School’s Black Students League co–president, who made national news by getting acceptances to seven of the eight Ivy League schools: Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and Yale University.
