Science: Grades 6-8, Week of 12/11/17
The 6th grade is investigating what stars actually are and, in particular, are discovering how astronomers can measure their distances to us by using mathematical tricks.
The 7th grade is having their Chemistry unit come to an end. Our last topic is Polymers & Plastics. We are currently discussing the advantages and disadvantages of using so much plastic in our lives.
The 8th grade is continuing on with our Human Anatomy unit. This week we will be covering the Respiratory System by making a model of how our lungs work and measuring our lung capacity.
