Art Room Update, week of 12/18/17

Kindergarten painted Mod Podge on their clay turtles to help protect the paint and to give them a glossy finish. First grade completed their dye transfer Seahorse collages (see photos). Second grade continued working on their puppets while Third grade learned the Rya knot and continued their story weaving. Fourth grade will finish their Pop Art personality soup cans, and Fifth grade continued to plaster their action figure sculptures. Sixth grade finished their Calder wire self-portraits, while Seventh grade finished their sneaker designs. Eighth grade continued working on their Murakami inspired skateboards.
