Science Grades: 6-8 Week of 1/22/18

The 6th grade is continuing their study of Astronomy by studying why the moon seems to change its shape constantly. Also, we will be finding out about the 3 different kinds of eclipses that may occur.

The 7th grade is finishing up their study of simple machines and are now delving into the mysteries of magnetism. There is more to magnets than just resting on your refrigerator door.

The 8th grade will be investigating the Immune System and how our bodies are constantly on the alert, defending us against harmful microbes. We will discuss how the treatment of infectious diseases has improved the longevity of our lives over the past century.
