Science: Grades 6-8, 3/5/18

The 8th graders will be finishing up their study on the rules of inheritance and will start delving into “molecular genetics” as we begin to discuss DNA’s role in the process of heredity.

The 7th grade will be finishing their electricity unit by examining the uses of some electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes in electrical circuits. We will also find out the origins of radio and TV.

The 6th grade will also be finishing their unit, on Astronomy, this week. They have been working on models of future Moon Bases or Mars Colonies and will present their designs early in the week.
