Science: Grades 6-8, Week of 4/29/18

This week the 8th graders will be examining symbiotic relationships among living things and how they fit into their ecosystems.

Photos of 702’s “Scientists Fair” will be sent via email. (701’s photos were sent out last week). We are now returning to our study of nuclear power. Last week the 7th grade watched a fascinating movie about how Einstein developed his famous equation, E= mc2. This week we will examine radioactive decay and how we can date rocks and fossils.

The 6th grade will examine the theory of plate tectonics and how this led to a better understanding of earthquakes and volcanoes.
