Grade 5 Human Rights Social Activism BAKE SALE on Wednesday + Friday!

FIFTH GRADE BAKE SALE this WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY (during lunch for K-6th and at Seth Low for 7th-8th) Bring money to purchase kid-made baked goods! All proceeds will go to causes and issues that matter to us, that we care about , that we will continue to bring knowledge, awareness and action on because we are change makers, influencers, kid activists who believe in dignity, respect, rights and a better world FOR ALL PEOPLE (the way you look, your culture, your race, your religion, your level of education, your profession, your identity, where you come from NONE of that matters. All that matters is that we stand up for each other, together, for for ALL people, for ALL human’s rights, for ALL to be treated equally, fairly, with respect, dignity and justice. We will donate ALL proceeds to MENTAL HEALTH/WELLNESS organizations and LQBTQ+ organizations. We believe in the power of knowledge, the power of awareness, the power of service, the power of diversity and unity, the power of education, and the power of children!
Here are social issues that we, 5th grade Humanitarians brainstormed, really care about and are bringing awareness/knowledge of into K-6 Classrooms school-wide and taking action on!

- Multiculturalism/Cultural Diversity
