Science: Grades 6-8, Week of 10/29/18

Now that the 6th grade knows about the major factors that make up our weather, this week, we will be learning how to read weather maps and start predicting the weather. They will also be preparing for their 1st big exam, scheduled for Wednesday.

The 7th grade will begin to dive into the world of thermodynamics, where we theorize what molecules are doing at different temperatures by exploring their behavior at hot and cold temperatures.

Now that our unit on Cells and Biochemistry is over (whew!), the 8th grade will begin a long study of Human Anatomy & Physiology. We start with the most complex and remarkable organ of them all – the Brain.
