Brooklyn Conservatory of Music

Our work this year with Brooklyn Conservatory of Music came to a close last Friday.  What a joy it has been to work with Mr. Michel who has been teaching music to grades K-2 for the past 20 weeks, thanks to your generous donations!  BCM has been with us since the early days of BSI bringing the merriest of music making to our kids.  These days have been filled with singing and partner games, clapping, stomping, patting, moving and playing percussion instruments and xylophones!  This, of course, is all in the name of teaching important music skills such as steady beat, rhythm, pitch and being part of an ensemble.  Ask your child about music with Mr. Michel.   We look forward to seeing him again next year in first grade!
