Westward Expansion Research Groups each explored a key historical event that contributed to the expansion of our nation in the 19th century (1800’s and beyond) starting with the Louisiana Purchase. They had to teach others’ about their historical event, how it contributed to our nation’s growth, how it was connected to other events, and what the pros and cons of Westward Expansion were.
