Welcome to the month of November! We’ve had very buys and productive past two months and are looking forward to an even busier November.
Schoolwide News
Stomping Ground Pictures
Pictures will be available to view on November 12th. Be on the lookout for your child’s BSI Stomping Ground Login Letter. Picture make-up day is December 12th. Sibling pictures will also be taken during that time. If you would like to have any sibling photos taken please make sure to sign up online: click here.
PTCs
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 14th from 12:50 to 3 pm and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Parent Teacher Conference online registration will be emailed on November 5th at 7pm. Click here for more details.
Respect For All Essay and Poster Contest
We are looking forward to our students participating in an anti-bullying contest. On Friday, the No Place For Hate Committee met to prepare all of the materials for the student bulletin board, draft a school-wide announcement and share the excitement. Click below to hear the announcement.
BSI PTO Book Fair
Our annual book fair is Sunday, November 17th at the Center for Fiction, in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, near BAM. Hope to see you there! (check out the calendar for more details)
Trimester Breakdown
Please note that your child’s final grades on the report card distributed in June will be cumulative grades.
Lice Check Reminder
This is a gentle reminder to do periodic head checks at home so that we can minimize and prevent lice from spreading. Also, please remind students not to share personal items such as hats, headbands, etc.
