301 Announcements

Hello Everyone,

It seems to have been confirmed that our class email has not been working so I will try and fix the situation this week.

Here are a few announcements:

• We have started working on our ALL ABOUT BOOKS in writing. Basically the students are writing about a topic that interests them and then teach other kids about it. Some students are writing about dogs, others about clothing, and still others about board and card games. If you have the opportunity, please see if you can take your child to the local library so they can find books about their topic in order to get more information for their writing.
• This week we are coming to the end of our Egypt unit in social studies. To finish the unit we are going to make a visual representation of something we learned during this unit (ancient or modern Egypt). It could be a picture, a diorama, a sculpture, etc. We would like to have students bring in any supplies they would like to use by this Thursday so we can begin working on the project on Friday. We have markers, paper, glue, and color pencils in the classroom already.
