301 Blog: Week of 2-3-20
This week we have a lot going on.
On Wednesday we will be taking our class trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to study different environments around the world and how they affect adaptation. We will leave the school at 9:30 and should be back by 1:00. Please make sure your child is dressed comfortably for the weather.
This Friday is Family Friday. We will be playing math games that all revolve around multiplication and division. Students will be able to show off their math skills to family members. It should be a lot of fun!
Reading: We will continue our unit on Reading To Learn, specifically reading nonfiction texts and figuring out the authors purpose and what the text is trying to teach.
Writing: We will continue working on our information texts, specifically revising and editing our writing.
Math: We will begin a new investigation based in a real world context revolving around division. We will also continue to investigate the relationship between multiplication and division.
Social Studies: We will begin our new unit: Peru! We will be conducting a case study about Peru, investigating its history, culture, and geography. It should be a lot of fun.
