1:1 High School Meetings With 7th Graders

Dear 7th Grade Families,

This week I will begin individual meetings with 7th grade students about high school. The purpose of the 1:1 HS meetings is to help students prepare and refine their thinking in making an informed choice with the high school selection process. During our meeting we will unpack the NYC DOE High School Directory together, to help students navigate through the directory. Each student will be given individual goals that will depend on our 1:1 discussion about high school. In early Fall 2017, I will be meeting with students again to follow up with our first meeting. Parents are invited to attend the Fall 2017 1:1 high school session with their child.
