Family Friday SIGN-UP

As the holiday season is approaching, we have been thinking about how our students and families create such a wonderful, culturally diverse community. Since many families celebrate different holidays, we would love to honor this diversity with a celebration of cultures.
In school we have read the poem “Where I’m From”, by George Ella Lyon. We have used this as a way to learn about each other’s families and cultural traditions. Children have written their own “Where I’m From” poems. We’d love to share them with you!
In addition, we would love families to share a food from their family culture. This could be a food representative of your cultural background or a favorite family recipe!
Please sign up for a dish to bring to Family Friday on December 7th from 9:20-10:00 am.
