Science: Grades 6-8, Week of 1/27/19

The 6th grade will be going to the NYC Center for Applied Aeronautics this week on a simulated trip to Mars. This will lead to a better understanding of the hazards of space travel.

The 7th grade will be using electromagnets to re-create the invention of the telegraph and to understand how the world of modern communication got its start.

The 8th grade, having now finished studying Human Anatomy & Physiology, will be delving into the details of cell reproduction by studying the processes of mitosis and meiosis.
