Grade 5 Architecture Presentation

Thanks, to Annabel (502) and her dad, Ben, for co-leading an Architecture Presentation in Grade 5 today, for both classes! Students asked questions, learned about different types of buildings/homes and about the process of what an architect goes through when making his/her work come to life (envisioning, creating, designing, building). Students also discovered that architects use multi-subjects and skills in their field of work (such as: math, science, oral and written communication, teamwork/collaboration, precision & performance skills) and need to have a big vision. Then, students tested out some of their own ideas by making a blue print design of their ideal home or a house design for one of Ben’s new clients.

Thanks, for today’s inspiration, Annabel + Ben!
