Grade 7 Humanities: Week of 10/12/2020: Location May NOT Be Everything After All!

Dear Families,

As the saying goes, “location is everything!” However, as we find ourselves toggling back and forth between remote and in-person learning, we are discovering that learning happens no matter what when you engage with curiosity and perseverance! We’ve been thinking about the citizens we are now and the citizens we’d like to become. We’ve been examining how our our philosophies have been shaped and how we’ve expressed those philosophies in speaking and writing. We’ve pinpointed some of the experiences and beliefs that have defined us through the good times, and the difficult times, like now. And as we study literature, history, and current events, we’ll continue to discover some ways we might shape American Society in our lifetimes. To that end, please look through our “Quaranjourney” cartoons and videos to see how we’ve dealt with recent events . . .

Yours,

Ms. Sacilotto
