4th Grade Science: Animal Behavior, Week of 11/27
Greetings! First off, I want to say how excited I am to be a part of the BSI community. The fourth grade has started our unit on Ecosystems and Interdependence. We have planted grass seeds, and are watching to see which variables will affect germination and growth. Now, we are observing various animals, as we work towards identifying how parts of an ecosystem work together. This week we are continuing to observe our cricket friends, discovering what they like to eat, and will be observing two new animals in the days to come!
I know many of you most likely have tons of questions for me, so I will be sure to keep you updated and remain open for communication. Thank you to everyone who signed up for ClassDojo! (Check your emails if you haven’t done so already for an invitation) I am using this site/app for various features, but most importantly as a part of our class reward system. Ask your scholars how they can earn points in class, or are already 🙂 I hope you have a great week, and I look forward to working with you and our 4th graders!
