Thank you so much for sharing in such a wonderful celebration of diversity and individuality! Each child’s Where I’m From poem was a gift to be treasured!

Public speaking is not easy for everyone…and I appreciated how every student took a risk to share a little piece of themselves. Afterwards, children shared their reflections on their poem share- and each and every child was very proud of their accomplishments. We will continue to work on public speaking during our Persuasive Speeches unit.
